This seminar from the Griffith Business School 2008 Sustainability Series features Abi Rushton, Head of Ethical and Sustainable Sourcing, Tesco Clothing, UK.

Following the keynote address, Abi will convene a panel of experts including Dr Jeremy Taylor, Manager Procurement Policy, Queensland Government Chief Procurement Office. The panel will address the development of sustainable procurement policies and practices in the public and private sectors.

In the 2008 elections, the people of Queensland will be voting according to the new boundaries determined by the Local Government Reform.

East Coast Blues and Roots Music Festival

Here’s Mia Diason …a Melbourne girl with grit who’s cut her teeth at a few Blues Fest now, rising from  the small stage in the cramped bar at Red Devil Park to centre stage in the main marquee.

You ask: Where will the Festival be held in 2008?

And Peter Noble and Michael Chugg answer: In 2008 Bluesfest will be held at Belongil Fields, Ewingsdale Road in Byron Bay.

When is the Festival on?

As always, the Festival will be held over the Easter Weekend. For 2008 the dates are: Thursday 20th of March to Monday 24th of March. On Thursday kick off is at 4pm, on all the other days gates open at 11am and the Festival goes to Midnight each night.
